This lavender and neroli scented skin cream is rich in anti-oxidants and omega 3 and 6 helping to protect sensitive skin.
The blend of borage, apricot kernel and macademia nut oils helps to soothe and moisturise the skin making it feel rehydrated, soft and supple.
Apricot kernel oil contains vitamins A, E, and B17 (amygdalin) and makes this cream very nourishing for the skin.
Vitamin A is necessary for the maintenance and repair of skin tissue.
Vitamin E is very moisturising and can help smooth dry, rough skin and is a powerful anti-oxidant helping to protect your skin from free radicals.
Vitamin B17 (amygdalin) helps improve skin condition and is thought to be beneficial for blemishes, sun damaged skin, and skin irritation. Apricot kernel oil is also a good source of iron, potassium, phosphorus and calcium all of which are needed by the body to help maintain healthy skin. Borage oil is exceptionally high in Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) which the body needs to create prostaglandins. The skin needs prostaglandins to keep it healthy and to prevent dryness, loss of suppleness and wrinkling. The third moisturising oil in this cream is
macadamia nut oil and offers the skin some protection from the sun and wind keeping moisture locked in. It has a high content of palmitic and palmitoleic acid which helps our skin to maintain moisture levels.
